The Pasadena Tournament of Roses will host a forum on Saturday, April 23, featuring industry leaders and thought-provoking panel discussions designed to engage and inspire Southern California youth.
#ThisGen2022 will bring together high school and college students from across the Pasadena and Greater Los Angeles area to discuss a variety of career, networking and personal development topics, organizers said in a press release. “The event will allow attendees to learn how to break down barriers, overcome obstacles, and follow their passions and dreams.”
Speakers include:
–Anedra Edwards, visual effects editor at Marvel Studios;
–Johnathan Franklin, director of social justice and football development for the Los Angeles Rams;
–Britt Johnson, host and producer of the Dallas Cowboys;
–Drew Rios, creator of Rogue & Fox Floral Co.;
–Special effects makeup artist Maryann Yee, and more.
About 200 students are expected to attend the free event, which will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on the lawn of the Tournament House, located at 391 South Orange Grove Boulevard in Pasadena.
