Former Senate Speaker and presidential candidate Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki met with the young national, zonal and state leaders of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) on Saturday.
This was announced in a post on his Twitter page on Saturday, Naija News reports.
Saraki, a former governor of Kwara state, said he would continue to consult with young people as they play a key role in the main opposition party.
He disclosed that he met with the national youth leader of the PDP, six zonal youth leaders and all 36 state youth leaders.

In his quest to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023, Saraki first hopes to land the PDP presidential ticket.
For the opposition party ticket, Saraki takes on former Vice President Atiku Abubakar; Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State; Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State; Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State; the former President of the Senate, Anyim Pius Anyim; former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose; former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi; Media magnate, Dele Momodu and others.
