Experts inspire young people at TEDx Talk at Chitkara University

The University of Chitkara, Himachal Pradesh, today hosted a TEDx conference on the campus of the university. The session came alive with 6 speakers from various disciplines sharing their experiences and life stories with the audience. The theme of this edition of TEDx is “Youth Motivation for a Better Future”.

The TEDx event included an impressive line-up of speakers such as Major Priya Jhingan, Indian Army’s first female cadet; Taranjeet Bhamra, Founder and CEO of AgNext, Mohali; Shradha Khapra, co-founder of Apna College and Apni Kaksha-xE.drdo-Microsoft; Aanchal Thakur, national alpine ski champion; Divam Wadhwa, Founder and CEO Chai Nagri; and Amit Pandey, CEO of PnCap, Founder and CEO of Super77, TEDx speaker.

TEDx Talk is a showcase for speakers presenting great, well-formed ideas in less than 18 minutes. TEDx believes in building a clearinghouse of free knowledge of the world’s most inspired thinkers.

The audience was impressed to hear the story of Major Priya Jhingan who always dreamed of wearing the uniform and serving the country. She told of her dream of becoming an IPS officer and how she wrote a letter to then Army Chief Sunith Francis Rodrigues to offer an opportunity in the Indian Army.

India is an emerging tech hub and an established agrarian economy and at the intersection of these worlds, Taranjeet Singh Bhamra is redefining the horizons for farmers and technocrats with his agritech start-up AgNext Technologies.

Talking about how he built AgNext, Bhamra also shed light on how India’s youth have the power to transform agriculture into a powerhouse for national growth. while “Microsoft walididi” spoke about “Growing up with technology – My story for young people”.

The next speaker, Aanchal Thakur, the Himachali daughter who won India’s first international medal in skiing, described her love and dedication to the sport that led her to success. Divam Wadhwa, an alumnus of Chitkara University and founder of Chai Nagri, spoke about her goal to fulfill the dream of making her own Indian chai, the most popular drink in the world.

Colloquially known as the Human Charger, Amit Pandey created Super77 with the ambitious vision of transforming human lives. , Clarity of thought, Dealing with failures, Confidence, Public speaking, etc. to young students, as well as seasoned professionals.
