The group noted in a press release, “We are organizing holy shrines in 6 geopolitical zones to build and maintain momentum for the upcoming elections and launch the first holy shrine in Lagos. Liberty Park.

“Our main goal is to inspire young people to register, become active voters and vote when the time is right.”

The group also highlighted its plans to enlighten young people about all the steps the Independent Electoral Commission has taken to ensure that all votes count.

“While decade after decade Nigerian youth have been neglected in the background in terms of the belief that their votes don’t count, we want to change the perception.

In a bid to unite young people, Pull-up Naija promised the availability of young people to interact with their role models and Captain of Industries one-on-one. All young people from different strata will be admitted to the great movement.

The first major event is scheduled to be held on the 21st May 2022 at Freedom Park, Lagos as long as you are Nigerian youth it is free to attend and meet your role model and be inspired by our future in Nigeria and why which you should cast your vote in the election.

He said: “We are targeting entrepreneurs, bankers, tech boys and girls, students, hucksters, people who don’t have opportunities and access to interact with their mentors – young Nigerians who cannot afford to buy tickets for big shows and concerts.

“So we have to kill two birds with one stone. They can register to be able to vote and enjoy free performances by their favorite artists or dinner and talks with their role models.

The group stressed that these events would be done with high standards and tight security without breaking any laws or interfering in state activities.
The goal is to actively increase voter registration and use that power to increase turnout in the upcoming elections,” says Pull-up Naija.
